Conservation

Protecting what we love

A portion of every membership and tour fee goes directly to local habitat restoration projects. We partner with regional land trusts and wildlife agencies to protect critical nesting areas, restore wetlands, and monitor at-risk species populations.

When you bird with us, you are not just observing nature — you are actively helping to preserve it for future generations.

About Us

A community rooted in curiosity

Feathered Friends Birding was founded in 2018 by a small group of backyard birders who wanted to share their passion with the wider community. What started as monthly meetups in the local park has grown into a thriving club with over 400 members.

Our certified guides lead year-round tours across diverse habitats, from coastal marshes to mountain forests, making birding accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

My kids spotted their first bald eagle on a Feathered Friends tour. The look on their faces was priceless. We are members for life.
